Campaign Platform
This is what I have identified as the problems with our current BoCC:
Backlogged road repairs, Wasteful spending, High Property Taxes, Anti- Growth, Anti- Business, No concern for Electorates opinions
This is what I will do when elected:
- Lower taxes by reducing government waste and promoting economic growth which will broaden the tax base and relieve the burdens currently affecting our taxpayers
- will not support taking more property off of the tax rolls
- would allow Choices to sunset.
- End all corporate and individual wealth redistribution such as CAPP
- will ensure that Public Safety and Roads are adequately funded by reprioritizing Budget spending.
- would streamline government.
- will protect the environment.
- will create a business friendly enviroment.
- will establish a Property Rights Council to review county government activities and inter-governmental activities to determine whether they may cause adverse impacts to private property rights.
- I am not a “special interest” candidate and will represent all county citizens fairly.
As an elected official I know that I am being elected to serve the constituents of our county and not any personal agenda and as such it will be my goal in office to always keep an ‘open door’ policy for concerned citizens to bring ideas and suggestions to me for review. It has always been my belief that listening to other people’s ideas is better than just promoting my own ideas. For this reason I encourage you to contact me with yours both before and after I am elected.
